Because of our successful history as heating and cooling contractors in the Great Lakes Bay Region, a partnership was forged in 2012 between third generation Charles Haertel and long-time employees Dan Lijewski and Andy Burke to continue the success. While Dan’s focus is sales and service, Andy specializes in furnace and air conditioner installations. Continuing the strong legacy established by the Haertels, both men are honest and committed guys.
Together, we continue to lead Haertel Heating and Cooling as the small company that is truthful in our dealings, that stays current with technology and efficiency, and that builds long-lasting relationships with our customers. – Dan Lijewski
Our History
The name “Haertel” has been recognized in the heating and cooling industry for nearly a century. In his early days, Robert Haertel, Sr., would travel the midwest, establish a new heating/cooling franchise in one city, then move along to the next. In time, his growing family put down roots right here in Bay City when he established Haertel Heating Company of Bay City!
