High-efficiency furnaces, also known as condensing furnaces, offer a range of significant benefits that make them a popular and worthwhile investment for homeowners, especially in colder climates like Bay City and surrounding areas.     • Sealed Combustion: High-efficiency furnaces typically use a “sealed combustion” system. This means they draw combustion air directly from outside your home through a dedicated PVC pipe, rather than using heated air from inside your house. This prevents the furnace from pulling in indoor air (and any dust, allergens, or pollutants present) for combustion, thus improving overall indoor air quality and minimizing air pressure imbalances within the home.
    • Better Air Filtration: The more consistent, longer run times of variable-speed blowers can lead to better air filtration, as more air passes through your furnace’s filter, capturing more airborne particles.
