Rebates & Financing

Financing

0% Financing: Haertel Heating and Cooling is partnering with Lennox to offer you 0% financing (12-month, no interest, no payments) on the top-of-the-line Signature collection furnace, AC, upgraded filter system, and Wi-Fi thermostat (a complete system purchase). DEADLINE: June 12, 2026.

Zero-Down Payment: Our year-round financing option is a zero-down payment when you finance.

18-Month Deferred Interest: Our most popular option is 18-month deferred interest. Offered all year long.

Current Rebates

Consumers Energy Rebates: Consumers Energy offers rebates for qualifying high-efficiency furnaces installed by participating contractors. Eligibility:

  • You must be a Consumers Energy residential natural gas customer.
  • The equipment must be installed by a participating Consumers Energy Trade Ally contractor who is active in their Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) program.
  • Applications must be submitted by the contractor (Haertel Heating and Cooling)
  • Rebates are for replacement furnaces (not new construction).
  • Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be received by the annual deadline established by Consumers Energy.

DTE Energy Rebates: DTE Energy also provides rebates for high-efficiency natural gas furnaces. Eligibility:

  • You must be a DTE residential natural gas customer.
  • Rebates are for single-family homes (2 or fewer connected units, each individually metered). Not valid for new construction (home must be older than 24 months).
  • A participating contractor will help with proper sizing, installation, and submitting the rebate form online.
  • Rebate funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Key Steps to Maximize Your Savings

  1. Consult with a Qualified HVAC Contractor: They are your best resource. A good contractor will be knowledgeable about current utility rebates (Consumers Energy, DTE Energy) and any state programs. They can help you select a qualifying furnace and guide you through the application process for rebates.
  2. Verify Eligibility: Always confirm the specific AFUE ratings and other requirements for both federal tax credits and any utility/state rebates before making a purchase. Requirements regularly change.
  3. Keep All Documentation: Save invoices, receipts, furnace model numbers, serial numbers, AFUE ratings, and any AHRI certificates. You’ll need these for tax purposes and rebate applications.
  4. Check for Updates: Rebate programs can be updated. Check the official websites of the Consumers Energy and DTE Energy for the most current information.
